Hey, there. My name is Jess Proulx, CEU and Director of Program Management here at Embodied Resource. I have been teaching Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Eastern Philosophy for over 25 years. I have owned multiple studios, built and run trainings all over the world, and trained hundreds of students in their 200 & 500 hour, chair, meditation, restorative, and yin teacher trainings (and many others).
My goal as a teacher has always been to blend the worlds of ancient wisdom with modern research, care for the tender nervous systems of my students, and hang tight to the respect and reverence of the culture from which all of these teachings originated.
I know how hard it is to build a career in wellness and how hard you work to make your dreams a reality. And, if I have learned anything from these many years, it is that you have to keep swimming deeper out into the pool so that you can hold your students up as they become ready to go deeper on their own journey.
